ATI has launched the newest edition of its industry-leading algorithm – Pulse. Pulse 3.0 provides an updated version of Pulse, which was first released in 2014. While still providing an algorithm to assist students like you in maintaining visibility into your progression toward NCLEX readiness, Pulse 3.0 provides even more accurate insights and opportunities within the program.
Initially, Pulse 2.0 provided insights on whether a student was on track for NCLEX success, needed improvement or was at-risk and would re-calculate your NCLEX readiness after each ATI proctored exam to keep you on track throughout your nursing program with visibility into your risk status.
Now Welcome Pulse 3.0
Pulse 3.0 launched on September 17, 2021. With the update, you will see a significant amount of new capabilities highlighting progress towards mastery of the subject matter and outlined recommendations for study. Pulse 3.0 not only provides information on your readiness for the NCLEX but, calculates the likelihood of securing a Proficiency Level 2 on each Content Mastery Series proctored assessment even before your first attempt. This inclusion was made to provide earlier insight into content areas you may be at risk and need additional remediation, using a combination of your personal performance data and your program’s historical trends The other major change with Pulse 3.0 is the data-backed recommendations for specific modules within ATI learning products that you can use to improve your likelihood of success. All of this, combined into a new and improved view that both you and your instructors have access to.
With these changes, you will be able to improve not only your experience within the program but overall success in your academic journey.
